cool vid
but isnt it trying to catch your fish?
had any casualties?
lol, i know what you mean, but no not one. the RTS got a nip on the tail fin a couple of weeks ago. that was the first time, anyone got hurt, since the cray went in 8 or so monthe ago. funny she seems not to see the cory, often tripping over it. she displays her strength, by waving her claws at the fish. if you look after she bumps into the cory, just after a peppered cory heads for her. lol then you see her go into reverse.
the tank, and fish were mature before the cray arrived, as was the cray, about seven months for a Redclaw. cray are scavingers, and opportunists. and the redclaw is among the calmest of the crayfish.
it was a move i felt was worth while, however i did have very good advice. and not all cray, even Redclaw, will coexsist in the community. there are great risks to doing this. but when it works, you have a sight to behold, and an insight into some of the most facinating creatures, IMO, the water holds.
