Very wierd dead fish situation

This moring when I went to go and feed the fish in my ten gallon tank, I noticed a dead fish corpse laying on the bottom. It was one of my scissor rasboras, which wasn't very surprising considering I havn't had very good luck with them. What WAS odd was that there was very little of his body left. All that was left was practically his skeleton. I know that that might not be very unusual but it wasn't just him. I noticed that three of my white cloud minnows and two of my cherry barbs were missing. I started to examine the gravel and found four of the remaing bodies, most of which were in severe states of decomposition. What makes this even wierder was that all of my fish were alive yesterday. Does anyone have ANY idea wha'ts going on??

The same thing happened with one of my white clouds. I figured one of my other white clouds must have partially eaten him after he died

Could it be that the fish are dieing and the ottos are eating the bodies?

You might check the water perams just in case.

I never thought about the otos...They have always seemed like such peaceful fish..

Yeah they are very peaceful, but I think they would eat the fish after they had died.

LOL.. There are only a few selected fishes that I am able to remember there names. The others are just there as sort of a formality.
