Heyy quick post. Please help ASAP!

65 litre tank - all water quality perfect- only inhabitants 6 rummy nose tetra (planning on adding more)

Very late last night/early this morning. Went to bed with 6 rummys playing tag in plants. Really active really colourful nothing wrong atall. I fact looked better than ever.

2 days earlier had finished treating them the last day of whitespot, even though no symptoms since before any treatment.

Today, only 4 rummys. Taken out all decor and equipment checked through all of it and looked all around the tank.

Whats your water parametres exactly?

Do you have a hood?

Could of got stuck in the filter, could of died and got eaten.
Could still be in the tank but just hiding really well.

Sorry for all the fuss I found them both in the filter. Dead. Cant quite work out how on earth they got in there. The ones that have died are the two biggest ones so competely confused!!
Neither of them have any injurys at all to the body. They are definatly dead but are in full colour?! Red nose black and white tail, everything. And they are literally 'belly up' in water. What does this mean?

What type of filter do you have? Internal/External? Also whats the name and brand?

I would imagine they just got sucked in. I'd recommend putting a sponge over the intake, or you could go the DIY version if you have a new pair of tights/stockings you can do without.

Filter is sponge filter internal. It's Superfish Aquaflow 200. From maidenhead aquatics. It's impossible for them to get in there are no openings anywhere.

What do you think killed them?

But if you found them in there, they obviously got in somehow.

I know this doesn't help establish whether they died because they got in there or they died and then got sucked in, but my money is on the former.

Thanks but how does that explain the belly up and full colour after death thing
