Very Tiny Baby Snails Appeared In My Tank Suddenly.

I was looking into my aquarium this night, and literally I saw a bunch of snails just roving around. I don't know where they came from, and I don't know what to do. I had one black mystery snail in the past, and he died. I got another mystery snail, and it died as well. I haven't had a snail in that tank for months, and all the sudden a bunch of snails appeared. My tank data is listed below:
5.5 Gallon Tank

2 Zebra Danios
1 Mickey Mouse Platy

I feed them tropical fish flakes, and occasionally a very small amount of freeze dried bloodworms.

There are no live plants, and I haven't added any new ornaments, gravel, fake plants, or live animals for months.

I don't really want a bunch of snails reproducing all up in my tank, and I don't really want a snail at all. What do I need to do to ensure that I get rid of them all, and how do I avoid this problem in the future. And where the crap did they come from in the first place?

i get snails in odd occoasion but i have a well planted tank. snails do lay eggs and there so hard to see. just white jelly lumps. and they do have a rapid growth! the only way i do it is buy squashing the snail when.i see one for my minnows they absolutely love them. seems as u havnt brought any new additions to ur tank or u have no live plants i really dunno. u can get some kind of liquid from ur local pet shop to kill them all off its called snails away. iv never used this stuff tho so id read up about it online or if theres any other solutions! happy snail watching hope this help

I had the same problem in my heavily planted tank

I purchased some assassin snails and after a few weeks the other snails were all gone

They now feed on the other food that the fish leave behind, i even watched them eating bloodworms the other day

I did intend selling the assassin snails but they are still in the tank and have become 10 now
