Hey guys,
I am really worried about my tiger barbs particularly one of them. Shown in the image below. I am new to this and would like to be someone that keeps fish alive at the beginning rather than one of those stories. "So many died at the beginning and then I worked it out and got the hang of keeping fish".
Tank size: 100L
pH:6.8
ammonia: 0ppm
nitrite:0ppm
nitrate:10ppm
kH: not sure what this is
gH: not sure what this is
tank temp: 25*C
Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior): Some are looking slightly paler than others they all seem to be hanging mid height of the aquarium but spread across the width of the tank. The fish in question keeps just tilting down like he's looking at the ground and stays there for a moment (10 seconds ish) and the moves away and does it again.
For some reason the tiger barbs like to hang out alone occasion near the mid back between the java fern.
Volume and Frequency of water changes: 25L every fortnight. Just did one this morning.
Chemical Additives or Media in your tank:
Prime - Seachem - Using quantities outlined on bottle for water changes.
Stability - Seachem - Used for a week after new tank syndrome to stabilise the tank.
Flourish - Seachem - Just started using this when getting new tiger barbs.
Tank inhabitants: Nine tiger barbs, 3 berma gold ring danio, 1 pleco
Recent additions to your tank (living or decoration):Plants, 2 new tiger barbs
Exposure to chemicals: Washing, rinsing and drying my hands before using the tank.
Any help and or advice would be really appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.
