Veija Argentea And Pike(xingu)

Wanted to share with you my photo,s, they are both growing fast, pike still has his juvie colouring, can't wait to see its adult colouring come through (hope its a female as they look so much nicer)

Lovely fish you have, argentea's the only veija type I like.

Gonna have to disagree on the pike though, Juvi's colourings much better than the adults .

Thanks shroob, Argentea's my fav too, wanted one for a while, now i just gota find some suitable tankmates for him.

I agree juvies have much nicer colouring, shame they lose the orange, can't stop them growing though,but as adults females if they get alot of red can be stunning, knowing my luck it will be a plain male (lol no offense to you guys).

what colour will it grow in to?

thanks paul_219 and pinkdolphin_113. As adults they change to a dull grey but the females are slightly more colourful with nice red finage and bellys.

Beautiful fish! About how big is the Argentea now? It's coloring is stunning.
