Vecton 400 Uv

Ive purchased a vecton v400 UV steriliser, i am going to be hooking it up inline from the return pump in my sump.

Question is my return pump kicks out at around 3500l/h and i know recommended for the V400 UV is 1400l/h.

I understand if i am flowing water through at a higher rating it will not be as effective but i am ok with that, the question is will that level of flow pass through ok? i.e. it wont damage the uv unit or anything will it?

I dont know many people who run uvs I dont but it will probable be fine unless its has anything in the instructions that say you cant/shouldnt?
