Great Tank, Wish I could keep sand so clean, and great looking Fish!

Very nice looking tank!

I really liked the walk-through!

And yes, I know how it is trying to keep the wife in-tuned with this hobby (well, soon-to-be wife for me that is...lol)

My plan of attack: I got her a Betta the other day, she named him Sparkler and she likes him...so she is coming around...lets hope...fingers crossed...lol

Where's the video?

is that the 350 or 190, i have the 190 and love it!

Looks good mate and the wife comment is so true! I had to let my missus pick a fish, she has picked kribs (i made her pick them subliminaly)

I will add the videos later but there ones already posted before mainly of my Clown loaches.

Its the Juwel Trigon 350 I did have the 190 but that's in storage now, mid summer this year when the decorating in the living room is completed I am going to put that one in storage as well Thinking of getting a Juwel vision 450. I do like my bow fronted tanks.

The master plan is when we move from our current place to a bigger place I will have 3 tanks :hey: 1 for the Loaches 1 for a marine tank and one spare for maybe Discus  which is one species I have always wanted to keep, well that's the plan.

There just hydor nano power heads they get some water movement in the dead spots I think they work and the Loaches and cory's get a blast out of playing in there flow

Okay So I am not very good at taking pictures, to be honest I have never been interested in photography. However I have been taking a good look at members pictures and it has inspired me to get the manual out and start playing with the settings  instead of using auto mode.

 its all a bit over whelming, macro mode, shutter speeds, white balance and alike. I do not have a fancy camera its one of those compact idiot cameras, I have a Samsung NV10 which does 10meg pixels but I am discovering that its not as easy as it sounds.

Any advise on optimum settings for taking pictures of fish close up would be appreciated, anyway here is a few more pictures I have just taken with some slight setting changes. I am unsure if they are an improvement

Zebra loach wants to be friends lol.

would be difficult to get good aquarium shots without an SLR, try cranking up your ISO settings and keeping the shutter speeds above 1/50 sec, using a tripod also helps, if you can change the aperture manually, widen it as much as possible (small f number) - the more light you're getting the easier it will be to take the pic
also take your shots perpendicular to the glass and turn off all your lights in the room - and dont use a flash if you can help it
some that I took a few days ago
http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/318224-my-50g-cichlid-tank/
but I was using an SLR with a special macro lens
