I bought 5 new valli tortas. I have noticed that 1 of the Valli's is sending out, what looks like a runner. Will this be a new plant? Do Valli's tortas send out runners like strawberry plants to form new ones?

yes that should be the case if your tank has the right conditions for vallis they will spread out and grow rapidly kinda like tall grass i love vallis for this you can in the future cut away the runner once the new plant has formed and create a new plant that it self will create runners

This is great. I only bought 5 to see how they looked. Now I do want more which by the looks of things there's 2 new plants coming.
When do I snip the runner?

it will take over if left to its own devices, i find it a pain in tanks, and i dont like the look of it, each to there own though
