Uv Sterilizer

I've been reading the reviews the last 2 days on vecton UV units and think I ought to get one.

Problem being I have internal filtration (Fluval3plus) and being a tightwad like I am, I don't want to spend too much on the sterilizer and , at the same time I don't want to have to buy an exteral filter etc.

What is your opinion on these for a 125ltr
(I would be using it as well as the Fluval)

there is a thread by a member who used this very item to great effect, and it should be up to a 125ltr tank. BUT, there is always a but lol. it is worth checking on the price of replacement tubes, they do not last forever. it may turn out to be better to buy a more expensive steriliser, if the cost of tubes is too high for the Fish r Fun item. That said it is a bit of kit we should all be looking at getting, now the price has dropped to a sensible amount.

Thanks for the info. I will search on the forum. Its also to do with not wanting to get a load of external equip as I have nowhere to fit it around my tank and the children at the stage where anything they can see they touch, hence all the internal equip is out of rech

I'd love to be able to go full scale fih tanks with all the gubbins, but time, space, MONEY and curious fingers are holding me back. lol

Oh well only 10 years and a lottery win to wait for.
