I got a UV sterilizer for my 55 gallon tank, since it was having green water algae problems. Well, the problem went away before I received my UV sterilizer in the mail. Now I am not sure if I want to use it right away or not.
If I use it, does it weaken the fishes immune systems by being accustomed to a nearly sterile environment? If I raise fish in that environment, then move some to my 29 gallon later down the road, are they going to be more susceptable to diseases?
