My tank has ich and i am goin to go with the salt/medicine route. How do i add the salt? Could i put it in a cup and put it on the bottom of my tank so that my fish stay healthy??? plz help quickly!!

Often a salt remedy for tanks is 1 rounded tablespoon per 5 gallons of water, though some people will argue more is better, and some will of course opt for less. You can just drop it in and it will dissolve on the bottom. However, some fish can be sensitive to salt, and since I forget what you have in your tank, you may want to research the species of fish to see if they can tolerate salt ok. Also, make sure you're not using table salt (may seem silly but some people think it's ok), use aquarium salt. Good luck.

Do you have any bottom feeders? I would reccomend issolating the infected fish/fishes and giving them a salt bath there. Good Luck!!!
