Urgent Please Help

My tank has a white floresent light and a blue floresent light, my main light (the white one) went friday morning so i was just using the blue one and noticed a huge increase of brown algae? Is this because of the blue light on by itself?

Also i know plecs are good at removing it but what types fo pleco will be ok with my cichlids (electric blue and yellows). I put ths in emergency and i need to know asap before my store closes today.

every good is good at cleaning alge but with electric blues i THINK the common plec is mostly used.
