can you all tell me what brand of tanks you would recommend, and good websites to buy from ?
at the end of the month (after pay day of course) i've decided i want to upgrade to a larger tank, im so excited!! (i still need to ask the parents permission, as it will be in my room, so it cant be too big as i dont want it going through the floor lol) i will probably sell off my other tank (64L fish pod) or keep it somewhere for future use, i was thinking of something around double the size, wouldnt like it to be too tall would prefer it to be more of a lengthy tank . so can anybody help me !?
Something like this -----> http/www.seapets.co.uk/products/aquarium-supplies/aquariums/aqua-one/aqua-one-aquastyle-aquariums/aqua-one-aquarium-aquastyle-620-black-90l.html
I have used Seapets in the past and their service is excellent. Obviously, we need to know your budget... there maybe a new filter and/or heater to buy, which may point you in the direction of a second hand tank, of which many a good deal can be found online.
yeah that seems nice, well im looking for a tank and stand/cabinet, i would say the max budget for that would be about £300 so might have to go 2nd hand as most new tank and stands can be expensive. plus i will be buying a HOB or external filter, dirt, sand/gravel, liquid co2 and ferts, all the plants i will need and maybe some new wood so im sort of hoping on finding a good bargain for a tank and stand so i dont have to spend too much
in fact thinking about it, if it means not spending too much then i would be happy to completely re set up my tank, keep the cycled filter media and get a cheap HOB filter and loads of plants and fish of course, couple of new bulbs, and a fresh dirt substrate and plenty of ferts and liquid co2, as my tank hasn't been looking good for a while now, i've struggled with it, trying to get plants to grow, but over that time i've learnt what does and doesnt work for me and think if i started again id get it right and create the tank of my dreams , i just wanted a bigger tank so i could keep more fish of slightly larger fish
