Update Of My Tank

Was lookin at all my pictures of how tank looked before and how it looks now and thought i'd share them I've had the tank since end of august start of September and the change is amazing if i do say so myself !

Inhabitants are 1 Sunset Gourami 1 Plec 2 Clown Loach 4 Cories 4 rosy barbs 4 guppies 9 red wags 15ish neons 5 danios

Looks really nice mate, simple and very effective. Not sure if you did this and one died or something but arent you supposed to keep gouramis in pairs?

In saying that, i bought all my gouramis in pairs and one from each pair has died! So im now left with single gouramis lol.

I did have 2 males bought at seperate times but the sunset was a bit of a bully so my bf took the blue one i had and put it in his tank and they both seem to be doing well . The blue one used to be restricted to one corner of the tank the minute he went out into open water the orange one was right on him dancing in there wee circles and kissing.

We thought it would have died down and they would have sorted out the top dog between them but granny(Sunset) just didn't like him lol so he's now the boss of the tank ...well until the plec comes out then he's off ! Lol

Cheers for the comments ...Cant wait for the upgrade now ! Need to try and find a corner for that one to go in don't wanna get rid of them but can't have the cichlids too ! lol

Yep ! I have no idea what kind tho i just know what i like when i see it ! lol Don't know if it will look right in that tank tho REALLY want one that goes along the wall so i can see all of it from the couch say maybe 4ft long by 3 ft high and 2ft wide nice big tank ... But i know if i got one that big i end up buying a oscar ! LOL

OO how i love those fish my granda had one when i was a kid Tiger oscar he was called kipper he used to poke his head out the water to get fed so i fed him oneday and the wee f***er bit my finger ! Still love them tho ! Was ooglin some Tiger babies in lfs on saturday only £8! Colours on them were gorgeous !

Think i need to go get the mop lol
