Thanks so much!

He has actually developed quite the attitude since it happened. Hes eating like a pig, and all in all acting like a betta should. :)

Just wanted to give you all an update. Draco is doing great! His scales are starting to grow back in and there's no sign of infection.

That's good to hear, it's always such a worry when they injure themselves like that.

You've got that right. I was especially worried as I've never had a betta do this...

Hes my first dragonscale betta and my first one to injure himself. Silly thing.

Hes really developed a personality and darts around the tank all day long. :)

put some stress coat in and watch him im 90 percent sure he will be ok relax dont worry just check on him every day and night

i hope he will be ok

Thanks! He is doing great so far with the water changes, stress coat addition and the Kordin herbal stuff. His scales are growing in nicely, and I think he'll be back to new in no time.

I'm trying to get a picture of him...but he's so active.

Im glad that he is doing fine. Be sure to keep adding the Prime that you have! :)

I add that with every water change. I have grown to love that stuff! Someone from this site actually recommended it to me...and I'll never go back to anything else! :good:

Yeah, its great! I actually bought a bottle of it today. :)

I need to look into ordering it. The cheapest I've been able to find it so far is a 250 ml bottle for $10.95. (It'll last me forever) Our bigger pet stores carry smaller bottles of it, but only the tiny petstore in town carries every size of it....smallest bottle, medium bottle and super large ones lol. It's expensive stuff. :hyper:

Man...this fish has become so hard to take pictures of!! :hyper:

Here are some as an update. They're not great because of him darting around so quickly.

He appears extra fat in the tummy because of his dinner and snail for desert today.

Hope you can tell the difference from the original injury pictures!
