Update 10-18-2004 55 Gallon Planted

I will start with a new and old of the full tank.

This was 24 hours after I re-aquascaped.....

Now, today.

Now for a few of the plants. These were taken late tonight so they were closed up a little.

Tropic Sunset. You will notice two of my new community members, I recieves some ramshorn snails and MTS.

Primrose plants - this one female guppy has designated that as "HER" sleeping spot. She is there every night and chases away anyone who bothers her.

My Anubias Nana, just starting to settle in and grow.

Now for a crypt. I can't remember what kind, but it is now growing after going through crypt rot.

And last, but surely not least the Sword. You will notice another hygro next to it and the same across the top of the tank. It may or may not stay. Have to see how it grows....

So the crypt melted after it went into your tank... glad that it is comming back - nice location for it...

I moved it around a few more times than I should of when I was trying to find the best placement for it. But it is coming back nicely.

That looks great. It looks similar to mine with all the little slate rock.(I call them flintstone houses) Only I have a little less because My foot long plec needs alot of room to swim. He kept scratching his nose on the rocks so I had to take about half of them out. The plants are great to.

It is getting there. It will be nice when it fills in. My plec is 3"-4" right now, but growing. I did leave good swimming room behind and in front, but if he does have a problem I do want a bigger tank.......
