I have a pair of furiously breeding angels. They're down to about every 6 days. At first I kept them, and had a lot die, but I ended up with about 15 or so that are in various stages of grow out. I really love raising the little things, but I'm at capacity, and none of my friends pick up the phone when I call, assuming I'm trying to pawn off an angel on them.

Unfortunately, the last LFS within about 30 miles of me went out of business last week. They've all been driven out of business by Pet[Co|Smart|Land|Supermarket], and they aren't even a little bit interested in taking fish from a local source.

So, any recommendations? Or, do my other fish continue to get caviar every week?

Check out http://fins.actwin.com/dir/clubs.php?c=1&r=26 for a local club, they can usually help in this respect. Auction season is starting up soon, you can usually find out about local auctions through a club.

I'm surprised Petland won't take them, they are a franchise, as opposed to a chain, and are usually looking for locally bred fish. 15 angels isn't a large quantity to them, the couple I deal with take 70-100 every month. Ask them to order light next time, as you have a dozen angels that need a home.

I hadn't approached petland - I just assumed they were like the others. I'll give them a try. Thanks for the link to the Atlanta clubs as well.

I looked into the Atlanta club a little, they seem like a good club. It would be worth your time looking into them.
