Plant species – Not sure sorry here is pic though

Quantity – The stem shown budding at top, can cut where asked to.

Additional info – Using 2x65w light, pressurized co2 and Kent ferts in 37g

any other questions please ask, going to be cutting sometime by next week dont like the direction its growing so has to be removed. never shipped plants so packing directions may be needed and need to be as cheap as possible. Thank you for looking. Also any info on scientific name would be appreciated.

it's echinodorus bhleri. (one of the amazon swords)

it reproduces via a flower stalk as you see here in your picture. if you leave it you'll end up with this

if you want to plant the new plantlets wait until it has 3 or 4 roots about 2 inches long then cut it off the stem either side of the root bulb and plant. best bet is to leave it as long as possible as the main plant is feeding the plantlets at the moment. as soon as you chop them it'll have to fend for itself.
