Unhappy Otto

my little otto isnt happy .... water parameters are fine
and hes got plenty of brown algea and algea tablets

all he dose is hide in the corner untill the food somes ....
thats it he dosnt even suck the algea off the glass

maybe hes lonely? should i get another one|?

Ottos are definately happier when kept in groups of 3 or more, and they tend to hide if they don't have a lot of cover to feel comfortable, ie plants.

that will def help. i had one lonely otto so i got two more and then they were happy. three were fun to watch so i got 2 more and now all 5 are lovin life. sometimes all 5 will hand within an inch of each other on the glass
