Morning all,
I'm thinking of getting a 4/5ft tank but i'm really unsure of what fish stock to put in it??? i've had a 3 ft tank for a few years now and have had all the run of the mill tropical fish i.e rams, mollies, platys, corys, neons etc. the new tank is going to be in a room in a main room in a new house, so is really going to be a focal point??? i really want to keep some bigger fish, but i'm really unsure?? have thought about some cichlid set ups or even thought about putting some mirror, common carp, tench etc in, but i'm thinking this could be quite dull. i would really love to keep a red tailed catfish or an arrowana, but i know these fish will grow huge an unless i have another monster tank to keep them in then these are not an option?? i've thought about rays, but i know they need a large area to glide around in. then there's discus, but i'm not really clued up on these.
would really like something a bit different, also somthing that could become quite tame after a time, what sort of fish will handfeed???
any help/ideas would be great.
Thanks,
Tropic Thunder
