Are there any good UK Betta breeders around (i.e. not e-bay or whatever)?

Ebay has a few reputable UK breeders on there but you will find you will be paying out slightly more for a betta from a breeder, than you would from a shop.

I ask this exact question last week, with some useful responses;

visit Betta Bred - She sells on ebay but also off the site as well, and has some beautiful bettas!

I'm trying to locate a young male betta; of any colour, any tail but at a reasonable price. My LFS have ones with shreaded tails, ones in bags or none. I did see some decent comb tails but I'm least a fan of them. When I got mine he was in a separate container but that shop have stopped selling them like that and instead put them in a tank full of guppies .

I was actually on that forum yesterday Beth and recognised your name there - I registered but I haven't activated it yet (I can't get on my emails until dinner time at work to register); when I register my username is the same as here . Thanks though; cos I had forgotten. If I can get one that is quite young that would be perfect.
