Ugh! Not Again..

Well my last school of SAEs all died except one. So i got him some friends. anyway, the ones before these new ones all where breathing fast and eventually died, all except the one that was not breathing fast. Now, the new ones are all breathing really fast and the older one is not!
is it gill flukes? should I start treating them?

SAE's are very sensitive to poor water conditions.
Have you tested the water recently and if so what are your readings?

How big is the tank and what other fish, also how do you do water changes, and how often and how much?
Is there plenty of air in the tank?

I do weekly water changes
All readings are good for ANN
The tanks is 72 gallons with 18 black neons and about 5 cories.
air? I am not sure, should be with co2 and my many plants.

if you have Co2 it's possible there's too much in the water, this reduces the amount of air in the water and can kill your fish.

but everybody else is fine. the black neons, the big SAE... it is jsut the new ones.

well maybe the lfs where your getting them from just has bad stock of SAE's then.... if they're all weak and all coming from the same breeder they could well just be bad stock.

maybe next time try gettign them from a different source seee if that makes any difference

it is from a different source. The thing is all SAEs are wild caught haha. Rubbing them selves on things? from item to time.. like maybe once in two hours (the ammount time I watch them some times)
