I'm pretty new to goldfish (apart from improperly kept "fair-fish" I had as a young kid and didn't know better). I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a website or something that shows the pictures and names of different goldfish.

I have a 15-gallon tank that I'd like to put a goldie in. I have a picture in my mind of the type I want, but I don't know the name of them. I'm thinking they might be shubunkins or fantails or something like that? A rounder body (rather than long & skinny) and a fancy-looking tail, but no popped eyes or "growth" on their head.

Thanks for your help in advance!

www.bristol-aquarists.org.uk has lots of different types you can look at.

i think the fish you are looking for is the fantail and the fancy long tails are the veiltails and theres ryukins as well, but they are more prone to swim bladder problems.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I'll have a look at that site!

[EDIT]
The fantail is the one I was picturing in my head! Thank you!
Wow those veiltails are beautiful!!!
