Two Un-related Questions

Two questions for you all. (-:


1) I saw a "neon" platy in a store today. it was a pretty light blue like the label picture showed, but it had about four thin vertical stripes. I had never seen this before, and I didn't think it could be dyed because they were very thin and precise, not big and gaudy like dye typically is. Does anybody know if this is a dyed fish or not?

2) One of my black mollies has a distended belly. She is not wide, however; from the front she looks normal, but from the side she looks big. Do you think she is ill, or pregnant?

I've never seen a Platy as you've described. It may be dyed. Platy colors are normally spots and not very precise that I have seen.

Feed peas to the Molly to see if it's constipation and relieve it that way. Is this Molly new?
