Aside from a plant buying kit online, is there anywhere else you can purchase some tweezers that will do the job for planting Glosso. I'm thinking of like a home store, or something?

A Medical store (might be expensive too), also sometimes in engineering stores, they have this really really fine tip tweezer for soldering i think, i use that but its a bit short so it will be difficult for larger tanks.

Yeah...

Hmm, see, I have some tweezers from a manicure set but I don't wanna crush the stem of the plantlet. I don't have time to wait for the delivery either. I'm gonna have to search for a medical supply store, cuz I'm pretty sure my LFS wont stock them. Maybe ACE hardware have something...

If you aren't too rough or careless, I'm sure it would be OK to use the one you already have. Just make sure it's clean and all that.

I used the one that came with my Swiss army knife, worked just fine. If you don't have one, ask around, as I'm sure you'll know at least one person with a Swiss army knife, or other such multipurpose knives.

Or you could always pop over to your local drugstore and buy one, shouldn't be more than $3 or 4.

Good luck

I used a set of forceps from a fishing tackle shop, can get them over 12" long.

This might be a longshot, but tweezers used for contact lenses might work. They aren't real long, (about 4-5 inches) but they are plastic and have rubber tips, and no matter how hard you squeeze them you won't be able to crush the stem. You should be able to get them at Target, Walgreens type of places were the contact lens solutions are sold. A last ditch, call an Optometrist, or Lenscrafters. They are cheap, a couple of bucks.

Excellent idea, I'll check it out. Thanks wendy!

I just dipped the end of my tweezers into some silicone sealant. I'll let you know how they work

Just wanna say they worked perfectly, got my glosso planted... now I just hope I have enough light and that my efforts aren't in vain. Talk about a chore!
