Yup - the turtle will enjoy eating the betta

he's a very helpful person!

just do some research before asking Q's.

I have found many things using the search tool.

no, do some research and then youll know why!

Since joining this forum I have noticed that you seem to have a bad attitude towards newbies. We are new and learning, we appreciate all the help, sorry just had to say that.

I have never seen a turtle in with a Betta, so sorry i cannot help you :)

I had noticed the exact same thing as you lol, and tend to check things said for a second opinion any way :p

Well i have a dissertation to write so im off now :(

the reason i put ' do some research is because some people expect an easy ride without doing any of their OWN research which IMO is one of the most important aspects of the hobby, yes the forum is for research but IMO you have to do some yourself.

first off the turtle may eat the betta, second you would have to drop the water line to about 6 inches, thridly you will need a 5uvb bulb.

exactly my point :)

Hi
When i saw the question, my immediate thought was no. So i googled it, and the only issue i can see is that the turtle is mainly nocturnal so could harass the betta at night. I haven't as yet found anywhere that has said you can or cant keep with fish. So Truck, if you know why they cant go together then say? I like your informative posts Truck, but you can be a bit abrupt with no explanation sometimes. A forum is for sharing knowledge, not just telling people to research or google whatever.

Yeah you can be useful but some of your answers are just short snappy and unexplained. I know about keeping musk just didn't know how nippy they would be, but its been answered now anyway

cheers
andrew

EDIT: i am off this time, stupid addictive forums :p

Yes that's it, I am not saying you are unhelpful because you are, you just can be very abrupt and negative

Still here lol,

Yeah thats what i was getting at, answers with no explanations isn't helpful, the musk we have isn't nippy and came from a fish full tank,

andrew

Well I would say no, but musk turtles can live with bigger fish! I hope to get one some day to live in my 55 or 125 gallon!
