Tulip Eel, Help!

I have a tulip eel, his name is Eel Mcneal. Recently I noticed his tail was all shriveled and kinda white. It is most defientely going to fall off. Then today I also noticed the whiteness to start growiing on his face. My tnk is currently facing a case of the plague! 3 out 7 fish have been sick. I have changed about 40% of the water.

The setup is

55 gallon high tank

Inhabitants:
2 Ghost knife fish
1 tulip eel
1 gold fish
2 sharks (unknown type)
1 dragon fish


Please help eel Mcneal, I can' deal with killing any more fish!

Your tanks overstocked some big fish there.
Can we take a look at your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.
Can you issolate the eel he sounds bad, the symtoms could be bacterial to parasite, but I'm more inclined to get going on a bacterial med but it could already be ton late if his tail is rotting away.
