Tubifex

I bought my fish some freeze dried Tubifex and I put a cube in yesterday at feeding time. Oh my word! I have never seen fish go so mad over food before. I even had my chain loaches coming to the surface of the water so they didn't miss out! Anyone else have the same or do I have a bunch of crazy fish? lol

Lol, i have always given mine frozen blood worm, so they dont go crazy but they still love it!

Good for em to have a diet with some meat in it.

tubifex worm is always greatly savored lose
or freeze dried in cubes if it is in cube
you can stick it to the in side front glass
of the tank i used to go and collect it from
sewerage works outfall pipes it lives in the mud around
them i used to take it home and place it in the cistern
of the toilet in a jam jar so the water is replaced
every time the toilet is flushed is the only way
to get them clean so you can feed them to your fish
knowing that they are clean it takes about ten days
just to be on the safe side they love it dry you should
see what its like when it live they go nutso over it

As Biffster said, the tubifex cubes can be stuck to the glass. If thats what you've got then I strongly suggest that you do it because you can place it in exactly the perfect position for you to view the feeding frenzy close up. It's an amazing site to watch and it never grows old

How do you stick it to the inside of the glass?

Mine says that on the box but I don't see how...

My fish go crazy for it too, especially the guppies. A greedy shrimp managed to get the full cube today and swim off with it, then when any fish came near him, he vanished off to another hiding place. Took about 20 minutes until another shrimp tried to get in on the act and broke the cube up lol

You push it onto the side of the glass and squeeze it. The air in it will bubble out and then it'll stay there. Enjoy!!
