Hi,

On the Aqua Essentials website i see that there are 'Tropica potted plants' and 'Tropica Easy Grow Plants'. As these are the same price, i was wondering, what is the difference? Also, what are the approximate sizes of the plants? I would like to know the sizes as im unsure how many to buy for my new tank.

Thanks in advance

Will

potted plants come in a pot (obv) and slow growers come quite big and healthy (well they all do)

easy plants are for low light tanks that arent demanding

tropica are zee best

would it be betetr to buy a pot for the same price of the stems or better to get stems?

i have a 13x13 inch cube and am after some Rotala sp. Green for a background plant so i just need enough to cover about 8x4 area

well this is my tank currently

I was thinking of buying 2 pots of:

Tropica rotola sp. green
anubias barteri var. nana
riccia fluitans

Does this sound good? comes to quite a high price.

IME you would only need one pot of each, presuming this is a 12" long x 12" wide tank. Maybe 2 of the Riccia fluitans but I;ve never got that from tropica so cant really comment. The great thing about tropica plants is that they actually work out as excellent value for money once you divide the plant up into individual rooted stems  .

I was going to get some plant from Aqua Essentials but the ones I liked had a minimum order of five item of one plant which kinda shot the price up....hence I did not bother.
