I'm very new to fish keeping but am a keen angler and love fish so i have decided to purchase a Trigon 190 tank and stand. A friedn of mine works in the aquatic industry and got me one with some odds and sods for £250 all in. Now have the tank, stand, gravel, heater, some bark, air pump etc. Need some simple advice to send me in the right direction. Will post pictures when complete. Am going to keep tropical fish and would like to know what sort offish i should be looking at stocking.

Thanks in advance!

hello brillo1902,
maybe if you are a novice at fish keeping you should start with a few easy to look after fish, like platies or guppies and maybe a b.n.plec or something simular. the live bearer fish are quite simple to look after in my opinion and you could always add to them later as they are easy to mix with other fish.
if you've not started your tank yet then a tank diary would be cool starting with an empty tank and then pic,s as you add too it-e.g. substrate, water etc., it's something i wish i had done!
