Transport Question

The LFS i use is about 30mins away from my house - of the times i've been to get fish my OH has been with me to hold the bag and look after them.

How do you guys & girls transport you fish if its just you in the car?

What is the safest option?

I just put the bag in a tall tupperware dish,stick it betjween my legs and drive like my grandad.

Poly Box is the best. It keeps them warm and in the dark.

I brought my two Gulper Catfish on a 5 hour car journey in one. No bag, just water in the Poly.

Ask your LFS, they'll have a few. If they're nice, they'll give it you free, most will sell for a nominal fee.

For 30 minutes & decent weather just toss it on the seat. If it's colder out one bag gets tucked in my jacket for the drive.

I use a poly box too.

Wrap it in a towel, put it in the ruck sack, ride on.

If I'm in a car I generally put them in the cup holder as it is quite large.
