It's kinda like a White spot parasite. Might not be that but all dianes symptoms sound like it
Been and bought some different white spot and costia treatment hope this works.

Waffle is fine. Lost a neon who was riddled with White spot. Used a new treatment and tank seems alot better.

No more deaths thankfully. Tank seems ok now, but some neons still showing whitespot so they are in the hospital tank now. Sully was moved back to his section as his pop eye has totally gone now.
Fingers crossed this will be the end of the troubles hehe

Vicki if you suspect Costia and I seem to agree....I have a treatment that has worked well for me and is less toxic than copper Chlorides. My king pk started to get cloudy eyes then a white clump under his mouth. The raising of temperature and total black is a good remedy but it takes too long. The product I recommend is called Cupramine by Seachem. Less toxic, superior to and safer than copper chlorides, sulfates, citrates and chelates. You only need a very small amount. I treated my fish and within 4 days he was clear and no side effects. I'm sorry to read of your disaster.....hoping things will work out for you soon.

Moved the neons to the hospital tank like I told u i was going too. Giving them another dose of treatment to clear them up 100%. Also giving the main tank another dose.
Sully is back in his section now (sulking again) but his popeye has totally gone. Marmites tail looks a little torn so keeping a eye on that, think he may have caught it though
