Toronto & GTA TFF Meet Saturday, April 2

Everyone in the GTA & area is invited to meet at Big Al's in Oakville, Saturday, April 2 at 2p.m. We'll meet inside somewhere close to the front doors so that people don't have to comb the store looking for likely TFF prospects.

& Swiss Chalet after for eats.

What a nasty day for a meet! Hope its better out there than is it up here on the hamilton mountain... all snowy and foggy. Maybe it is a good thing that I am working and can't make the drive out there.

I'm in Mississauga and it is horrible here to what a drab day !?!

I got absolutely drenched just walking from my car into work... maybe 100 feet. Such wet heavy snow.

Actually, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it today but if you guys see this before you go.. could you please check and see if they are carrying any german blue rams and how much they are asking?? THANKS!!

Well, it rained this morning, then it snowed, and then it rained some more, and it was still coming down hard when it was time to go...but I had said I was going so I went.

The traffic on the 401 was pretty wretched because of the weather so I ended up getting there late and nobody else was there! whaaa!!

Which meant that nobody was there to stop me from getting - - another tank!

I had actually told myself that I wasn't going to buy anything. But since there was no one else to talk to I just started looking at the tanks, you know it's so easy to...
and then I remembered that hey, I really hadn't figured out where I was going to put the 2 new betta boys when they come, and the plain tanks were pretty cheap, a 2.5 for $8.99, and 5 gal. for $9.99 and I thought, well, it's only $10... Canadian!
but then of course it has to have a canopy & light so that they don't jump & so I can see them...
So the upshot is that I've hidden it in the back of the car until I can bring it into the house at the right moment.

I would have liked to go...but the weather
stayed in and rebuilt my DIY CO2 and watched CSI

I couldn't make it. I had to help a friend move, i really didn't want to help her move because who likes to help anyone move, but she is a very good friend of mine so i did what i had to do. I got soaked from the rain/snow/who-knows-what-else that was coming down from the sky.

I hope we can arrange another meet where we can allllllllll show up.

When is your next meeting? I have been looking for a tropical fish/aquarium club in the GTA to join. Can you provide more details about your club? Thanks.

It's not a club per se. We all belong to this forum, and try to get together once in a while.

maybe we should start a GTA club...I know I am always looking to meet new people with the same interests as me...
