Torch Light

How does a torch light affect a fishes eye sight? i look into my kribensis's cave to see if they have any eggs or fry but i'm wondering if it could blind the fry or any of the fish or affect them in any way?? it hasn't done so far but just in case.

It wouldn't harm the kribs physically (although some fish eggs and fry, mostly tetras, are light sensitive), but it could upset the parents enough to provoke them to eat the spawn.

what do you mean by light sensitive?

Some tetra eggs won't hatch unless they're in (almost) total darkness.
