Hi! Sorry I didn't know where to post this thread. Anyways, I was looking at Java moss at my LFS today and a worker was feeding some of the fish near me. I looked at the fish and saw a new fish that I had never seen there. I asked what kind of fish it was. The worker told me it was new to the aquarium hobby and it was their first shipment. It was called a Tophat Blenny. I was told it could live in freshwater, brackish water, and saltwater. It was able to live in hard or soft water, it took to any temperature range, and it was compatible with every type of fish. I found this pretty hard to believe though. They are very cute though and I'm just curious if anyone knows anything about these fish. Thanks for reading!

Never kept or heard of them, but hopefully, this article will help you.

They aren't new to the hobby. Just not seen very often. Fishbase states that they are a marine fish, and that the adults are only rarely found in brackish. I wouldn't house them in fresh.
