My smaller tropical tank is a 10gal amazon pool tank. I currently have a couple corys a small school of neons and very tiny clown pleco in it. The design I'm following has recommended having hatchet fish as a top swimmer in this biotype however no aquarium stores in my city carry hatches except on and I don't trust their stock (too many fish with issues there lost an entire tank once).

Can anyone suggest another top level swimmer from this biotype who won't view my neons as lunch?

Thanks
Elariel

Well, my first thought was gourami. My second thought was "That's not Amazonian". Hard choice, maybe another type of tetra? I can't think of anything that is the right tank size and stays up.

Thanks, I'll keep researching. I need to wait a good while before adding anyone else to this tank anyways.
