Top Soil

Anyone used this (Westland topsoil) in an aquarium? I have a load of this as was thinking of using it as it's just sat around instead of using money to get something different.

My 90L uses peat free top soil that I got from Homebase. A 1/2 inch layer with a 2inch gravel cap has worked wonders for the plants. Just be weary of the amount you’d use as nutrients can leech off into the water column especially if you don’t have a heavily planted tank. I’d also suggest watching a few vids on using top soil in an aquarium just to be sure
