It’s very easy to make your own tops and going to the glass shop with your dimensions usually gives you a better fitting lid than you can buy . An easy hinge is to mask off the hinge with masking tape ( a couple layers thick ) and use silicone sealant as the hinge . A guy in an aquarium shop showed me that .When I need a new lid, I often find it's a lot cheaper to go to the local glass shop and ask them if they have any scraps they can cut to size for me. I do the lid as two pieces and glue a handle of some sort to one so it's easy to open.
