Too Much Stocking?

As you may have read, Ive added a salvini to my stock and will keep a close eye on his behaviour but I still feel I could add more, obviously with correct territory etc I wish to add a pair of the beautiful ellioti cichlid, possibly different parameters but these are tank bred fish now so my total stock would be 11 columbian tetra, 2 blue acara, 1 salvini, 2 ellioti in a Fluval roma 240 litre 55 gal tank with great filtration etc

They would be fine parameter wise so long as your tap water is around neutral - you might get away with it, hard to say the two Blue Acaras are female right? Or are they a pair?

yes there female wills, im just considering options, i just thought mmmm 2 ellioti, 2 acara, 1 salvini and the tetras equals quite a colourful tank!

Dont do a 'pair' of Ellioti's, get 2 the same sex and it may work.

to be honest after some thought im going to do what I planned originally, if poss 5 discus, 2 elliotis maybe an acara
