Too Happy Not To Share ...

My LFS ordered me in a new API test master kit. They did say my last one expired or was very close too. They had the same results on three of the tanks they tested with my kit.

Anyways just used my new kit and .....

pH - 7.2
ammonia - 0
nitrite - 0
nitrate - 5



Only you guys would share in my happiness over this. LOL
Before Christmas my ammonia kept spiking to 0.5-1 !!!!
Lots and lots of hard work later. My results ...

that's great news ... could be starting to cycle. Keep checking it and if it stays like that for a week or 2 then you can say you have a cycled tank and add some more fish. Do it slowly though ... one or two at a time. Remember the filter needs to adjust to more ammonia from new fish. If you add a lot at once it could put you back to ammonia problems.
