hi is there anyone that can help me my tanks acid levels are way too high and i am tryin everything to get them down e.g changin water regulary and doing checks everyday  i am lost and cant understand why it is like this i havnt lost any fish (touch wood) so keepin them alive but worried its gonna make them sick please help.

that shouldn't be a problem for most fish - what fish do you have?

thats alkaline and 7.2 - 7.6 is fine my tank used to be 7.8 before i put bog wood in .

Agree with the above, nothing wrong with a pH of 7.2-7.6

Plus if you're doing lots of water changes then that means that 7.2-7.6 is what comes out of you tap...so thiswould be a lifetime problem and very very expensive.

oh thought yellow (6.0) was alk. oh so confused when it was 6.4 was merky now its clear but heard its bad for the fish.

oh hang on its not a cat fish its jst an algy eater quite small and spotted coat sorry
