I'm having a sort out of my tanks and have decided to break down my brackish tank and try for something else
I have 2 of each Toadfish and Morays. They have lived together without incident for the last 14 months.
The toadfish at a guess are 9 inches long and very bulky. They feed very well on lancefish and prawn. As soon as the lancefish drops next to them they gulp it with a grunt and a groan!! The noise is fascinating
The Morays are about 16 inches at a guess. Having been bitten by them once I didn't take them out to measure!!Aain they feed no problem on lancefish and prawn
I feed them about three times a week and the water is now 0.018sg. It has been slightly higher and it was originally less but they seem to prefer it at the higher end of the scale
the phootos of the eels show them paler than they are . They got darker as I raised the salinity
I am asking for £50 which is less than I paid for them or potentially a swap for something interesting. I keep all kinds so try me
