Oh I would plan on also having it online. If you do open up a betta shop, I think it would be a good idea to be online too. I definitely wouldn't have highly-priced things. Personally, I don't even buy things from pet stores because of their high prices; I could go online and buy them and it would be the same price, or lower, even with the cost of shipping... and I prefer to support a place that has decent prices. There's nothing stopping you from having a shop in a city, but also one online. That way even if the actual store fell through, you'd still have your business online to fall back on.
I just dont' know much about all the shipping and stuff...

Tim Arndt is up north a ways, but the shipping is only 15 bucks or so because of being in the province, and he has great bettas.no, this is a pet store family run in the small town i live in, their bettas are kept so well, they always have many different types, HMs, CTs, DTs etc etc, they are super nice, and actually KNOW what they are talking about. When i bought my male and female a couple weekends ago, i went to the chas register, and the girl looked worried i only had picked up one tank and hastily advised me that they are NOT to be kept together, and that i should go find myself another tank or sh wasn' selling them to me. but i told her i have an empty tank at home, and know about bettas as i have two at home, and 2 previously before those two.
She was nice though, but you might want to check them out. And you might want to tell me about this Tim Arndt guy![]()

A little further north than Brampton. I meant more like northern Ontario. I don't remember what town he's in, right now... but I'm sure it's still a ways off from where you are. He's out in the sticks.
But that's okay, because I was looking for everyone's opinions... that's really helpful, yeah, I was worried about the mall rent.. but I thought, lots of people walk through malls... betta fish are very attractive... if I have some on display people might decide they want to take one home.
