Tiny Tiny Fish Hatchlings Or Fry What Are They

I was doing my weekly tank clean and found that I have the tinest of fish in my tank they are just about HALF the size of newborn Guppys possibly even smaller and I dont have a clue what they might be. As they are less than 1/2 the size of a grain of rice its not possible to take a picture. If you check my signature you can see whats in out tank can anyone suggest what they might be??? and the tetras are very very small aout 1cm long so I very much doubt they can be to do with them unless they "mature" at a very young age...so any ideas or do I have to wait weeks and see what they grow into? at the moment they are all very sensibly living around some of my built in filters so are safe from the other fish who are far to big to get into where they are. clever little buggers

i would say that they were danios, guppies, mollys, or platys you would be able to tell if they are platys as soon as they are born because platys have a wider body than guppies.

They are a lot smaller than my newborn guppy fry do you know if Danio fry are that small? its hard to look up on the web as its rare that anyone actually says what actual size the things are. to give you some idea these things are way smaller than brine shrimp its actually hard to see them with the naked eye...hence we only just noticed them as I must admit I dont spend hours staring at my built in filters

If they are zebras they will have a blue neon stripe and look like small neons, but they lose that when few weeks old, What colour are they?

Have you ever had catfish? if so they could be them, check on the sides of the tank and under the gravel line for small black things clinging to the glass, if so they could be cat fish. I don't think there neons coz neon fry need complet darkness to hatch.

The tiny fish are just about see through but will keep you posted over the next few days as they grow and maybe we can work out what they are
