If you have mature tanks, you've surely used your mature media for this tank in question right?!

I assume i missed it, since no one has said it yet....

First I've heard of there being any other up and running tanks. It would definitely make sense to do this, assuming they're actually cycled!

I don't mean this in a harsh tone at all, OP, but I'm so confused. You seem to have all these other tanks, being sponsored (?!), and yet all the questions you've been asking since you joined and the things you've been doing imply you haven't a clue where to start or what to do!

So now the 60 gallon is empty of fish, you will need an ammonia source to cycle it, as in ordinary household ammonia, and you'll need to be testing daily. Read read read! If you have any mature media in another tank, add some to this filter to get things going a bit faster.

Anyone want to sponsor my tanks? This sponsoring sounds great.

£2.50 and a packet of Pork Scratchings?

Deal, for this you will get 1 picture of my shrimp each month. Itll be the same picture for everyone, like when you sponsor a tiger in the jungle that will "write and send pictures to you". Hope this is ok :)

So, whats with this sponsoring then? Im interested? What do your sponsors provide, why, and what are they getting out of it?

He wouldn't need to use household ammonia if he has all these other tanks set up! Right?? Just use a chunk of mature filter media in the new tank and that should do it. Which, by the way, he could have done in the first place to avoid that nasty bloom!

i too am intriged....and do they do handouts ....i mean.....sponserships in the uk?

Assuming the other tanks are cycled, yes - but I can't work it out!

Theres been other people running these tanks for the past 3 years or so, i just recently started on them, ive always done really nothing but lay back and enjoy my tanks lol.
And the sponsors are 4 privately owned companies around my area, the furthest company being 103 approximate miles away.
First off, They use the bigger tanks to simply promote a ton of their supplies, like one of the companies just two days ago used my 100 gallon salt water tank to promote there safe "pool cleaner". And it actaully works. Of course before i let them do this i make sure nothing will harm my fish, period. And instead of getting paid actual cash money for whatever i want, they simply pay the expenses for all my tanks as long as they can use these any time they wish, at my discretion. Very cool situation we are both in,
And i cant seem to add any files? the uploader is saying that the files are too large.
