Tiger Lotus

my narrow leaf temple died
and i was thinking of moving my very young tiger lotus in the place of it. do you think it will set back the lotus?

IME quite the opposite.
I've moved mine many times and they always go into overdrive after the move.
it could be something to do with trimming the roots before replanting though.

does a tiger lotus always stay a live or does die back, go dormant then come back? I've always wanted one, but didn't know how it worked.
