Tiger Barbs

hey ive got a 4foot 55 uk G and was wondering if tiger barbs would go well as dithers with Jd, convicts , jewels , salvini its well filtered just wondering because i got told on here Odessa barbs would work but ony 3 of the 5 have survived

I have Tiger barbs in with my Pike Cichlids. I would say they would make great dithers for your tank, just make sure to get mature ones as they are larger.

ah cheers thanks what should i do with the barbs i have left as only 3 are left and i know they should be in a shoal of 5 at least do i try getting more or re home them? also how many tiger barbs should i get also does the coloration matter or do they all have the same behaviour

Just try a few at first, i think a JD would kill and eat them later on, they have a pretty big mouth.

the colours dont matter, unless they are hybrids with Black Rubys, then they tend to be more docile.
