Tiger Barb

Hi after finding out that our 2nd tank is too small for angle fish my girlfriend has decided that she likes Tiger barbs. the tank is 80 liters and about 15inch high. How many tiger barbs would we put in and what kind of tank mates could we keep with them any help would be great cheers

Hmmm tiger barbs are agressive but aggression can be deterd by keeping them in shoals as they are a shoaling fish groups of 6-8 tend to work best but they get to a good size so i highly doubt you would get them in your tank and they do limit tank mates down to larger tetras and the like.

Was there anything else you had your eye on?
