Tiger Barb Last Legs

I was just feeding the fish this morning whilst having breakfast and was counting the numbers etc when I noticed 1 of my tiger barbs upside down at the surface but breathing. His fins are torn a bit but there are no other damage marks. I think he has had a beating. There are 7 others in there. Bit strange as the green ones seem the biggest and strongest.

I quickly setup a quarintine tank but its only 16 litre but its all I have. I had to dash out to work and since coming home he is swimming about ok now. Think I got to him just in time. Doesn't seem himself still. Doi just leave him in the QT tank and perform regular feeding and maintenance until he is somewhat "repaired"?

Add some salt to make sure those fins don't get infected holding thumbs

Ok I'll get some tomorrow when I get some more RO then. How long should I be looking to quarintine him until I return him to the main tank?
